One need not be a professor of economics to clearly see bank greed. We live in a capitalist system so there is no purchase in complaint.
Wayne Swan has no legal control over the banks, indeed if a Labor Treasurer began telling businesses what profit margin they could make there would be an outcry of “SOCIALISM” from all and sundry.
